The evening is hosted by PCA president, Vu Nguyen,
who will share the current happenings with PCA and the National Club
Racing scene and a few inspirational comments and a
view of the future of Club Racing.
Hear incredible stories about the challenges of racing
at some of the world's most famous tracks and endurance races. Please sit back and
savor conversations with Brian, Kevin, and Patrick-- three icons of the motorsport’s
world-- as they celebrate and review their unprecedented and legendary fourteen 24-hour
endurance racing victories.
We’ll taste our way through four beautiful Racing Series
wines as Brian Redman kicks off the evening, regaling us with his experiences with
historic wins and a very few that "just got away." Brian is a fantastic storyteller and
historian, and a treat to listen to!
Kevin will share how his early starts and participation in
the first-ever PCA National Club Race in 1992 led to two decades of unbelievable
teamwork and success. Learn how Kevin shaped his Racers Group to be the dominant force
in the 2000s in professional sports car racing and 24-hour endurance races.
Current racing legend and Porsche factory driver,
Patrick Long, will regale us with his incredible on-track experiences and perhaps
offer a sneak peek to the future of Sportscar racing. Ironically, Patrick's first
professional drive in the US was with Kevin and The Racers Group in 2004. The team became
the Porsche Factory Team, and Patrick contributed as a "junior" driver. Racing is a small world!
Sip the excellent Adobe Road Wines' the Racing Series.
At the same time, Kevin and his talented winemaker Garrett Martin share their insight
about their award-winning Redline, Shift, The 24, and Apex wines -
each in their own right outstanding
and unique 90+ point wines.
This evening will be a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity and a whole lot of fun at a time when we need some levity and connection to
those who share the passions of racing, cars, and wines. Join us, listen, ask, and enjoy!
