"The 2013 Proprietary Red Apex has an opaque saturated blackish/blue color. Its dense blackberry, peppery and meaty flavors cut a broad swath across the palate. The wine is full, forceful, pure and shows moderate tannin. This is a big beefy, full-bodied red begging for a grilled steak. Drink it over the next decade or more, because it’s likely to be long-lived." - Robert Parker

92 Points - Sleek and refined, with a rich, polished core of spicy oak, dark berry, loamy earth, licorice and graphite notes, combining power with finesse and grace. Drink now through 2030. 420 cases made. -  James Laube, Senior Editor Wine Spectator

"Medium ruby with a darker center, the 2013 Grenache Kemp Vineyard accentuates the kirsch, spice box, and sandalwood characteristics that often are part of Grenache’s character. Loads of sweet cherry fruit, medium body, good oomph and power in the back make for a delicious, hedonistic and consumer-friendly wine to drink over the next 4-5 years." -Robert Parker

Made from a non-traditional blend of varietals, the wine shows wonderful complexity for a Rosé. Fresh crushed strawberry along with bursts of citrus and mint entertain the palate and are duly represented along with beautiful floral scents in the bouquet. Volcanic minerality along with bright acidity results in an encompassing mouthfeel and a dry finish that lingers and refreshes the palate.

A blend of our two favorite Dry Creek Valley vineyards: Famighetti and Grist. 2008 was a challenging growing season that brought both frost and fire to California vineyards. Despite the challenges, this wine shines as an example of why Dry Creek is a perfect place to grow top quality Zinfandel. Originally released in 2010, the wine has mellowed and integrated its tannin with red fruit, baking spice, and softened leather; a classic iteration of fully ripe Dry Creek Zin.
