From one of our all-time favorite vineyards in Dry Creek, the 2017 Viognier was harvested at first light on an extremely foggy and damp morning. After riding up and down the steep vineyard rows sorting fruit with the crew, we all came out looking like wet rats, but it was all worth it! The Viognier has explosive aromatics of honeysuckle and white peach. Vanilla, clove, stone fruit, and a butterscotch finish frame this full-bodied wine. Barrel fermented and aged 10 months before bottling, this wine is an incredible youngster that will age very well.
